Dave Feneley – Partner

David qualified from Liverpool University in 1990 and came to the practice in 1991 after a year in mixed practice in Barnsley. He became a partner in 1993 in the large animal side business and subsequently bought the whole practice in 1995. He lives with his wife, Jane, who is a small animal veterinary surgeon and partner at Summerhill Veterinary Centre in Fakenham. They have two boys, as well as four horses, two cats and one dog. David’s other big passion outside of work is skiing and he is also known to play the guitar in his “spare” time!

Toby Kemble – Partner

Toby joined the practice in 1996 and became a partner in 1999. He comes from a farming background and went on to work in Farm and Equine practice connected to the Royal Veterinary College after qualifying in 1992. From there he went on to work in a large equine practice in Sussex before coming to Fakenham.

He is married to Emma and they have two children, a dog, a cat and two guinea pigs.

Toby enjoys fishing, shooting and ski-ing.

Howard Kellock – Vet

Howard is our newest addition to the Wensum Valley Veterinary Team, joining us in August 2011. Howard has an very active background in livestock with his parents owning a farm in Cumbria. He has made a great start here on both the farm and equine sides of the business working to the highest standards and is already taking on a full role in the practice.

Howard qualified from Liverpool University in July 2011 and pretty much came straight to Norfolk. Outside of work, Howard is a keen rugby player and has already made his mark by becoming the Vice Captain for Fakenham Rugby Club.

Jay Fields – Head of Administration and Head Animal Technician

Jay has worked at the practice since 2006 - She now runs the office with tremendous efficiency, she deals with phone calls, drug orders and administration. She is our head technician assisting with horse handling, lunging, x-rays, endoscopy, anaesthesia as well as in patient care. In her spare time, Jay is also a keen rider.
